Ramble & Riot Is Heading to the Nashville Flea Market

Mark it down: Ramble & Riot is packing up the road cases and setting up shop at the Nashville Flea Market, September 26–27. If you have been eyeing a piece online and wondering how it actually sits on your hand, this is the weekend to find out. Rings, cuffs, and stones that photograph well but wear even better — all of it will be laid out and ready to try on.

The Details

Ramble & Riot will be set up in Expo 1, Booth 42 at The Fairgrounds Nashville, 401 Wingrove Street, all weekend long:

  • Saturday, September 26 — 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Sunday, September 27 — 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Admission is free. Parking is $10, cash only, so plan for that on the way in. Come any day of the three — the booth will be fully stocked the whole run, not just picked over by the weekend.

What Will Be There

The booth will carry the full range — shield rings, stacking bands, cuffs, and the stone-forward pieces that make up the heart of the Ramble & Riot line: lapis, jade, tiger’s eye, onyx, chrysoprase, and the denim lapis that has become a shop favorite this year. Made-to-order pieces and one-off originals will both be on the table, so there will be something for a person who wants a specific size and something for a person who just wants to see what catches their eye.

Photos online only get you so far. They never get the weight of a shield ring quite right, and no screen has ever done a lapis cabochon a favor. Trying a piece on in person, feeling how it actually sits and catches the light, is a different experience — and it is the whole reason to make the trip out to the fairgrounds instead of just scrolling.

Why the Road, Not Just the Shop

There is a version of this business that never leaves a laptop — list the piece, ship the piece, repeat. That has never been the whole point. Flea markets are slower and messier and a lot more work than a listing, but they are also where the actual conversations happen: someone picks up a ring, asks where the stone is from, tells you about their grandmother’s jewelry box, and suddenly a sale is also just a good ten minutes with a stranger. That exchange does not happen over a product photo.

Nashville in particular has a good crowd for it — people who know what they are looking at and are not shy about saying so. Setting up there for three days straight is as much about that as it is about moving inventory.

Come Say Hello

September 26–27, Expo 1 Booth 42, The Fairgrounds Nashville — mark the dates and come find the booth. Bring a friend, bring questions about a stone, try on more than you think you’ll buy. If you snap a photo of something you pick up, tag @rambleandriot so it can be shared — seeing pieces out in the wild is one of the best parts of doing this.

See you in Nashville.
